Salam Alaykum, if i may recommend a few things.
alexa.com may be useful for checking your blogs rating (traffic statistics)
free blog directories may be good for spreading your blog on the internet, and possibly moving up your ranking in google (if/when google indexes your blog)
if you can write up relevant but also useful articles/information/tutorials, etc, save them as PDF, allow visitors to download freely (they may spread, and simply adding your blogs URL at the bottom of the PDF may bring some visitors)
